Youth Camp 2025.
Event Information
Here’s an event preview from the Youth Camp Directors:
Come grow in your relationship with Jesus and other believers. There will be plenty of fun and games, but more importantly time for growth and reflection. You can expect powerful worship and teachings to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus, as well as quite time to reflect of what you have learned. Beyond that, cabin competitions and cabin time help in growing deep roots inside the family of believers. All of this will be done as we seek the power of the Spirit Fruits to go deep into the Grand Plan that God has laid out for your life. We may not be sailing with the Straw Hat pirates, but we will be seeking the great treasure that comes from the One Price that Jesus has paid for our lives.
First time at a week of Youth Camp? Here’s what to expect.
From Wednesday evening to Sunday morning, campers will experience something less like a traditional camp, and more like a nearly week-long youth group. Campers will be invited to bond with their age-based cabin and invited to join in things ranging from either athletic competition, or goofy trivia. There’s something for everyone here. They’ll be able to play anything from big, totally original Suncrest games to fun moments around a picnic table or a bonfire. During both worship services and cabin times, youth will learn about the one true God who created them, loves them, and sent His son Jesus so that they may be saved.
Wednesday, July 22 - Sunday, July 26
Wednesday Check-In/Drop-Off | 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Sunday Pick-Up | 12:00pm -1:00pm
Both drop-off/pick-up are in The Tab, the big gray building you’ll see when you pull into camp.
For youth going into Grades 7th - 12th in Fall 2026.

Camp Directors
Tony & Beth Kurtz
Pastor Tony and Beth have a passion to see God's love spread to the world in many different, and practical, ways. They have served together in ministry in Redding California, Boston Massachusetts, and the greater Pittsburgh area for 17 years and now serve at Marion Hill Alliance Church in New Brighton. God brought Pastor Tony and Beth together and they have been married since 2004.
After a number of years and many adventures, God called them to adopt through the American foster care system. God completed their family by bringing Jolee into their lives in 2018, and Gracia in 2020. This family is a blessing to all of those that come in contact with them and serve God together in many ways. In their free time, Pastor Tony and Beth are an avid outdoor couple. They regularly bike, rock climb, snowboard, paddle board, and loves camping as a family, but their greatest joy comes in bring others along for the adventure.
Camp Speaker - David Hardie
David J. Hardie
David mmm J mmmm Hardie is a big, bearded, youth speaker who travels the world inspiring teenagers and adults to "Tell a Bigger Story" while creating some pretty awesome T-Shirts designs (which he draws by hand) that he sells at large events. He is a grizzled veteran of youth ministry, having logged in over 20 years as a frontline, full time youth pastor work. If you paid David ten million dollars and told him that he could do whatever he wanted for the rest of his life, he'd spend the remainder of his days speaking at youth retreats and camps.
Worship Music Led By:
Throne Room Worship
Throne Room Worship is a collective of lovers of Jesus who happen to be worship leaders from southeast MI. The heartbeat of what we do comes from Hebrews 4:16; Their goal is to invite people to enter into the throne room of God BOLDLY. It is in this place where we will find help and mercy in our times of need.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
We proactively focus on your child’s safety, and recruit our volunteers from churches and ministries that we know well. All Youth Camp Counselors will be a minimum of 18 years of age, but often many older adults are serving as well.
All volunteers have all required background checks/clearances according to PA state law. -
At preteen/teen ages, we give our campers some free time (within certain public areas) and the ability to go to their cabin on their own for rest. However, campers are still closely supervised throughout the day, and we encourage group activities. We have clear boundaries of where campers may be depending on time/camp activity.
-
Absolutely! While we highly recommend they join us for the whole camp - we know some years that just won’t work. We can make accommodations, we just prefer to know ahead of time. Please email us at info@suncrestcamp.com and we’ll work out the details with you!

We have a wide variety of games and events so that regardless of interests and personality, there really is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the week. Campers will have a mix of free time, cabin discussion and prayer, worship services, and signature Suncrest-invented games and events.
Most importantly, we intentionally spend time putting our focus on introducing campers to the Lord and encouraging everyone to seek the Lord Jesus above all. -
