Event Information

Youth Camp is our big summer event out at Suncrest for students going into grades 7-12 the upcoming school year! We are super excited for what will be happening this year! There will be a lot of classic camp games like Cabin Quest, Mission Impossible & Hunger Games as well as some BRAND NEW games! We will also be taking a trip to Urban Air again this year (please make sure to fill out that waiver before camp).

On top of all the exciting games & activities we have a lot of intentional time to spend with God. Every morning we will have a worship & devotion time where the camp will worship together then breakout & have the opportunity to just spend some time with Jesus. In the evenings we have Joe Ward set as our speaker. He will be teaching on deliverance (being set free)! Throne Room Worship will be returning to lead worship as well!

Overall we believe it is going to be a great Youth Camp! We hope to see you there! If you have any questions please email us!

Youth Camp Directors

Tyler Puharic

Tyler is the Assistant Pastor at Girard Alliance Church. Tyler has been at Suncrest for many years, as he grew up in Beaver County, and he married his wife, Amy, at our camp! Tyler first gave his life to Jesus at Suncrest Camp, and has since happily served as a counselor, director, and speaker. He loves to plan big, crazy, awesome weeks of camp that are full of fun, and focused on Jesus!

Kristyne clark

Kristyne Clark is from Girard Pa, and has been volunteering at Suncrest since 2021! Kristyne is currently working as a secretary at Girard Alliance Church, and her and her husband own an indoor inflatable bounce facility!

Not only has God given her a heart to serve God has given her a love for clowning! You might even see her daughter Maevis helping this week at camp! (She’s an infant she won’t be doing much.)

Camp Speaker

Joe ward

Joe is currently the Youth Pastor at Verndale Alliance Church in Verndale Minnesota.

Though he may live 16 hours away, he is no stranger to Suncrest Camp. Jesus met Joe at camp at Flannel Jam in 2012 and since then, he has loved watching God show up and change lives year after year. Joe loves playing 9-square, drinking fancy pour-over coffee and watching sunsets with his wife, Emma.

He is looking forward to seeing you all at youth camp this summer.

Throne Room worship

Throne Room Worship is a collective of lovers of Jesus who happen to be worship leaders from southeast MI. The heartbeat of what we do comes from Hebrews 4:16; Their goal is to invite people to enter into the throne room of God BOLDLY. It is in this place where we will find help and mercy in our times of need.
